Hi I am not new to cycles in any way. My next bike, preferrably the 599 will be my 13th, I have been biking since I was 16, in 1971 :P
I live near Chicago, and am looking for a new or slightly used 599

Sweet! Hope you find one soon. Try checking craigslist or maybe some dealers in your area to see if they have any left over new ones still.

Welcome and good luck. Definitely check craigslist and ebay. You may have
to travel a couple miles to get it but if it's in good shape it'd be worth it.
Also check in here from time to time in the For Sale section. 8)

Welcome, you've gotten all the good advice! Living near a large city like Chicago will help you find a bike. I would bet there are some still at dealers if you check around. Good luck, the 599 is an awesome ride!
