SLC599er

Can anyone give me some "launching" advice for the 599? I'm not talking full-on dragstrip stuff, or wheelies, just how to get going rapidly at a stoplight. How high of RPMs do you go and how hard do you dump the clutch? I always feel like I feather the clutch and as a result I'm very slow off-the-line.
Any personal techniques would be appreciated.

Rev up to about 4k RPM and push off (in your mind, at least) with your legs. Once it gets rolling, you can immediately increase the throttle while still keeping the front wheel down. It's a fast launch for me. Everyone else will be at the stoplight in your mirror and you'll be shifting to third pushing 60 mph.
Actually, I'm just learning how to do this myself. So, I'm looking for answers here, too.

I usually feel as though I'm leaving lights too slow but then I look in my mirror and realize I'm not :D
