Seriously though, I don't know how I feel about that. Why is it "cult?" Because there are not many on the road in comparison to say the Monster or SV650? Or is there some kind of underground movement to find Hornets? Ya know, give a reason if you're gonna print that in an article. Then again, anything goes online.

Ummm... yeah. I mean, I kinda feel like it's a cult bike. People go nuts on the British Hornet-Only forum and we're here posting constantly. We have t-shirts and schedule rides to ride with only other 599 and 919 riders!

Interesting if only for its picture of a red 2006 (or maybe 2005, I'm just dating it from the instrument cluster/flyscreen). I'm also glad to hear that constant wheelie-ing can "nadger" your steering head bearings. Gotta love the foreign press!

That's a 2005 Hornet. Also, that's orange (metallic, I believe). A standard color option for the Euro market.
I mean, at least it looks orange to me.

The Hornet is some what of a cult bike and eye catching machine ,i ride my Hornet to Cocoa beach,Fl ,Daytona Bch,Miami Bch,and Orlanda ,and other bikers always ask what is that and how does it ride ? I always reply by saying its one helava bike its the Honda hornet ,a sport bike that sits upward which is very good for distance driving . I have drivin all sorts of sport and cruisers and the Hornet rolls with the best of them .
