HI! i'm new to this forum and I just got myself a 2002 honda 919, its been a blast to ride but now it needs new tires. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I am willing to spend the money on quality equipment because we all know that you need to trust your tires to do what they are supposed to do!! HAHA! anyway any help would be aprecciated!

My riding is mostly highway so my choce was Michelin Road 2. Long tread life on the highway but stickey on the sides for the twisties. Michelin Powers are very sticky but wear out in 5 to 6,000. miles or less. These tires are expensive so choose wisely. There are other quality options.

I would recommend Pilot Powers if you do alot of aggressive sportriding. As they say, it's better to have more tire than you need, than to need more tire than you have.
I have a set of Pilot Roads on my SV650 and i've been pretty happy with them so far as commuting tires with occasional canyon riding, so I imagine the Pilot Road 2's should be even better if you want longevity as well as grip/performance.
