7520 miles
Aftermarket turn signals
Homebrew fender eliminator
Tank pad
New grips
Black mirrors (still have stock chromies)
Sliders

It's a great bike, but if you've found the ad on this site, you already know that.
This bike is not able to be registered in the stupid state of California. No exceptions.

Low-sided at about 20 MPH in hard-dirt/gravel. No fork strikeNew visor, left handle bracket, tail piece smoothed and painted (not cracked), have new alternator cover/gasket.

Make me an offer... Oh, and it can't be ridden in CA without the possibility of being impounded by the CHP, so you'll have to pick up...

Can you tell I'm bitter? >:-(

Do they test the exhaust gasses in Calif ? In PA they test cars but not motorcycles. But if you know the inspection station they have ways to pass it (if you know what I mean). So how would CHPs know if it is a Calif bike or not.

No. Cars are tested in CA, not motorcycles. I have no remaining options to get the bike registered here.

Sorry about your bike situation. How are you gonna fill your need for speed on 2 wheels?

Did you try the 7,500 mile exception? It is my understanding that the 50 state certification for "new vehicles" are not required once the vehicle has 7500+ miles on it. See this page on the DMV site:
