I'm selling my 2004 Honda 599. The bike is in excellent condition - it has been well taken care of, always garaged, and meticulously maintained - it has only 14,xxx miles. Recently it gently fell over on the driveway - it was standing still (very frustrating!). So it has two small scratches, that's all. I've used the bike for commuting, it has never been laid down, and has a clean title. There is a relatively new front tire and a brand new rear tire. The battery is brand new. The chain and both sprockets are also brand new, as well as a very recent oil and filter change! The bike is mostly stock, except for some perfect modifications - the details that make it a much nicer bike without doing anything over-the-top or very invasive. These include:
Two brothers racing slip-on exhaust
K&N air filter, carbs re-jetted to match
custom red paint, decals removed
flush mount front turn signals
under-the-seat integrated rear turn signals
bar-end rear view mirror
new, more comfortable handlebars
frame protectors (so you won't hurt the bike if you drop it!)
13-tooth front sprocket, much better and zippier for getting around town (i have the original 14 tooth if you want that, which would be better for traveling if you plan on taking long trips on the bike)
This bike has been very well maintained with synthetic oil, and I have the Honda shop manual if you want to know how the bike works inside and out. The Blue Book value of the bike is $4360 + 500 modifications, and the bike has lower than the normal mileage. I'm asking $4300 o.b.o. - which is less than you'll find for the same bike, please look around and see for yourself. If you have any questions, send me an email!
