Does anyone know if there's there a place in/near Birmingham Alabama where one can rent a bike? I know Eaglerider has tour that passes through there but I can't seem to find a rental location from them in that area. I'm going to be out there and wanted to rent a bike for a day if I can find a reputable place with bikes that are not deathtraps. Any suggestions?

You must...and be sure to tear off your sleeves, spirit gum some fake hair to your shoulders and get one of those dumb-looking Nazi faux helmets to round out the look (you must go incognito...AL, afterall! Deep HD country I'm thinkin', from my basic training experience of two+ decades ago...:?).

Maybe a swing arm sticker (haha:thumbsup) that says "loud pipes save lives."

But some nice greenery in that part of the world...gotta be some good roads to travel!

So far the only place I can find is down in Mobile, a little too far away from Birmingham for the short duration I'll be down there. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to make my brother come out to LA where I know of about four different places to rent a bike and take him up to the canyons!
