Could a CBR 1000 engine (2006) be fitted to a 919 chassis? Would this be out of the question, difficult, or a pretty basic swap?

A motor swap is just labor-prohibitive... unless you really, really like doing that kind of thing. If you really want to do it, I doubt a 2006 1000RR will work. Like Iowa said, you'll need a 900RR - I think 96 to 99-ish. | |
