I am planning to buy a 919, but it needs painting. How hard is it to remove the colored items for painting?

The tank is easy but can get messy if gas spills. The rear cowl is a piece of cake. The front fender requires removal of the front wheel, no big deal with that center stand. Obtain the factory service manual for painless wrenching. All removed in 1 hr.
