Cooling fan won't turn on

So, my cooling fan will not turn on (2004 599)... I replaced the switch (middle left on radiator)... that did not work. Wondering how to know if it's the fan, or a wire or something else before I spend anymore money replacing the wrong thing???? thank you

I traded in my beautiful little 2006 599 today for one of these. It was used, with only 2000 miles on it and with add-ons: Arrow titanium pipe, heated grips, hand guards, center stand, touring windscreen, Givi sidebags and mount for tailbag... what could I do?

can't get to neutral when bike is hot

I have a difficult time shifting to neutral when the bike is hot (200F+). It seems to require more force to shift, and will just click straight from 1 - 2.

I thought it might be my oil, so I changed it a couple of weeks ago (Rotella T6), but in traffic today I was still having problems.

Anybody else experience this?

Damaged Parts - Free

I have a rear fairing (06 - black), undertray (chopped) and a coolant overflow tank.

All three parts have some damage from the PO. All parts are useable (ive been riding this bike since December and I just replaced them yesterday)

Not looking to make any money - cover the shipping and they're yours.

Rear Fairing - $40 Shipped - The visible portion of the fairing (the top) is undamaged. The damage is on the underside by the pipe - is and is very well hidden - i'm just super anal so it bothered me that it was there

Hey gang. Thinking about selling cause I don't really care for the riding position and I'm used to litre bike power. I just bought this a couple months ago and thought I would get used to it...but no. Lol. It has a clean title and I should be receiving it any day from the dmv in the mail. As for the bike, here are some details...

Only 3200 miles and counting
Undertail kit with mini signals and clear tail light
Mini front signals
Titanium Two Brothers pipe

Absolute mint condition! No scratches! Maybe one tiny pebble mark on tank.

Only issue it has is it probably needs carb cleaning. Feels like low jet is gummed up. It idles and runs without stalling but has a little hesitation when taking off. After take off, its smooth as glass! I'm on my second tank with seafoam in it so its too early to tell if that will clear it out or not.
Other than that, its perfect! Tires, chain, brakes etc all good!

I'm looking for offers if anyone is interested. I can email or text u some pics as I'm having trouble trying to upload them here right now. Or I will put a few in my profile as well.

Reason I say I'm "thinking" of selling is there is a lot I do like about the bike, but if its going to go to a home where someone will love EVERYTHING about the bike and the price is right, then I have no problem parting with it.

Need help installing front indicators! (cat-eyes)

hello, I have a question in regards to installing smaller front indicators. i ordered two sets of small cat-eye indicators and had them installed today. the problem im having is that theyre blinking really really fast and each side blinks at different speeds. also, one of the bulbs is starting to smoke... i checked all the wiring and connections and it all seems fine.. any reason for the fast blinking? thanks...

My semi-wife is planning to buy a CBR250R this weekend. In preparation, she reached out to several dealers to find the best offer. Here's what came about from a conversation with a sales rep from Al Lamb's Dallas Honda.

He explained that they had a 2011 model for $3,999. She asked if there were any additional discounts available and he replied, "Oh yes, it's eligible for $200 off." What exciting news! Sadly, he claimed that $200 discount was already factored into the price. She asked for clarification: the 2012 model is $4,099, so this was only $100 less. He confirmed as much, but refused to make any attempt to explain why the math didn't make sense.

In reality, there was no discount. $3,999 is the MSRP for an '11 model. Had he not lied (or "got creative") she might have bought from there this weekend. As is, that dealer is entirely off the list.

I worked in sales at various companies for many years and dang if I still don't understand why people still act like they're the stereotypical used car dealer.
