Been meaning to get some, even if I don't have much to show. This is basically what it's going to be. I've got some H3 driving lights I need to mount up and I need to find the bracket I was going to use for the license plate. You lose so much shit when you move every six months. Also, if I can't figure out how to hide the wires, I'm going to have a plate made to go behind the headlights. When I get a little more dough, I'm going to do something to clean the tail up... put on a subframe that isn't so ugly.

Here's my new taillight setup. It's actually a lot brighter than it looks in these pictures, especially when they're pointed straight at you.

CJ, love it. And the old-school stove is a nice touch too. You have to replace those partsbin mirrors though. Soon!

JHenley -- are you tryin' to pull off some of RobK's moves here? Get a garage mate! I'll throw some new ones up shortly.

It was in the garage, but I pulled it inside during a few days of below-freezing temps. I still have Water Wetter in it, didn't want to crack the engine or anything.

Nice bike cj But I think you have the front tire fitted the wrong direction. They say that it makes some difference when riding. (unless you don't drive i reverse :P)

Re: post some of your latest pics!

Well, the freezing story was legit, but she asked me yesterday when it's going to move :idonno:. It's just got a few more things I need to get done that I'll be more motivated to do if I can stay inside and do them. I want to have it all ready when I get the call for my tank. I just got a few holes to drill and my temporary solution for my headlights and it'll be good to go.

If it weren't just me and her in this 3-bedroom house, she probably would have made me move it as soon as it got above freezing.

Original Pilot Road's go opposite directions from front to rear as well.

If you think about it, the tread on the front is under 'duress' when braking and the rear is under 'duress' when accelerating, so the opposite tread direction kinda makes sense.

Originally the Conti' Road Attacks were the same direction but, field testers found that reversing the tread pattern gave better wear. In fact, my first set of conti' tires (on the front tire) had the sidewall arrow going in one direction(opposite the rear) and the arrow molded into the tread going in the other direction because they changed one part of the mold (sidewall) to reflect the update, but didn't bother with the other part (tread) until it wore out.
