I agree with everything “A” said concerning lane splitting and I’m coming from a Chicago perspective.

Lane splitting is not legal here either, but I’ve never seen the law enforced.

You could probably swap bars with someone, lower bars is a common mod.

I’ve never done this but I hear jets aren’t too difficult to swap out. If you’re running rich you’ve probably got the wrong jets in your carbs.

I love mine. It’s a great performer and can practically be neglected if kept dry. Try finding those two qualities in another bike.

Bikes.com does a great job rating bikes. I suggest taking a look...

Sometimes I search eBay UK for the hard to find parts. It’s not always economical but they have more options than we do.

When it does I usually put it in first, let the clutch out enough to engage, then try to put it in neutral again.
