Default Buenos días from Sydney

Hello all,

Been looking for a good bike forum for Honda's for a while. I am a (relatively) new rider in Sydney, Australia on an 08 CB600F. I love my bike, ride it daily 60k's (~40m) to and from work.

I have no good pics with me, but will upload some soon. I am looking for a fender elminator for it atm and the only other thing I have added is a sweet cortech tail bag (there is no way I'd put a rack on it).

Anyhoo, hello!

Christian

biggins.

Nice bike. You know we only have 2004 and 2006 in the US, right? We don't have the fresh new style here.

Welcome! I've visited Australia twice and spent a total of three months there. Had the time of my life! Sydney, Port Douglas, Gold Coast. Drove from Adelaide to Melbourne and back along the coast and saw the twelve apostles and other rock formations before some of them toppled. I had a custom riding jacket made for me at Walden Miller as soon as I got there and had it sent home. When I got home two months later I was so plumped up from meat pies and beer that I couldn't fit into it anymore... good times. You kids sure party hard and those ozzy women are awesome. Have fun with that '08, good on you mate. Tell my kids I said hi.

Thanks all, I didn't know you guys didn't get the new one there, I had noticed a distinct lack of them on these forums and wasn't sure if my bike was in fact a '599' (its called a CB600 here).

Asphalt, what should I look out for when looking for your kids? I have done Sydney to Apollo Bay, along the Great Ocean Road, past the 12 apostles, its a beautiful drive (before I was riding). Never made it to Adelaide tho, word is that I'm not missing much though.

I only have some rough iPhone pics of my bike, I'll upload them soon or snap some new ones. Its bog stock though, so nothing special. I came from a VTR250 and GS500 so its a big step up for me.

A fine specimen, my man...

however, there is an unwritten law on this forum that frowns upon swing arm stickers. Violation of said law can and has resulted in penalties including but not limited to: watching 24hr video streams of Super Sneaky Steve's Mom eating cold haggis, riding pillion with Carlitos on his new bike while he wears assless chaps, fart-tasting, flogging with some tassles stolen from a Harley, being vthoky's bear-cub for a weekend Deal's Gap ride/camping trip(..there's only one sleeping bag), and/or confiscation of your left hand grip.

As you have been given a 48hr grace period, please attend to this matter expeditiously to avoid transition into penalty phase.

Thank you

Trust me... that is NOT as much fun as it sounds.

But you told me you "had a ball!" Were you lying... or did you mean something else?

Check the pillion half of your seat. I left you something back there.

Even if I didn't put them there?

Harsh... way harsh, but I respect the rules... Watch this space for updated pics, I'd hate to be subjected to *any* of those punishments.
