how often does your chain really need to be cleaned? i heard it was 500-600miles. but what if i just put it off until the next service like every 4k.. will that damage the chain?

I'll lube the chain every 500 or so miles, but cleaning is just when it's nasty.

I need to adjust the chain cos it has a little too much slack... gotta work on it at lunch time today... anyone knows the wrench sizes I'll need? Just to make things faster.

If I'm not mistaken, I need to loose the nut on the pipe side of the bike, and tighten the bolts on both sides on the swingarm. Also, just need to make sure both sides of the swingarm are in the same position on the chain. Correct folks?

I was talking about the big nut on the pipe side of the swingarm... anyway, done and done! Much better now, but it's time to buy a new chain...

Ps: nut was 24mm.

Those two choices are not mutually exclusive.
