Default Buell M2 flyscreen

I followed in the footsteps of Leatherwings, ianmac, and various others at WristTwisters.com and installed a Buell M2 Cyclone windscreen. Surprisingly simple installation. The Buell mounting tabs match right up. I used rattlecan matte paint, but it's delicate and I've already scratched it a bit during the install. I'm looking around for a better option. It's only mounted to the bolts on either side of the headlight, so it will pivot up and down a bit if bumped, but that doesn't seem to be a big problem.

Part #s:
WINDSCREEN, PRIMED M1600.DPMD $72.49
BRACKET, WINDSHIELD, RH, M2 M0604.D $9.37
BRACKET, WINDSHIELD, LH, M2 M0605.D $9.37

I ordered from surdyke.com

looks badass! definitely the best looking screen you can put on a hornet. I been meaning to paint mine a matte black, especially since mine got all scratched and chipped from awhile ago when some bastard knocked my bike over and messed up a bunch of stuff , but i've just been lazy and unmotivated.

btw, your bike looks friggin CLEAN considering all the long distance riding you've done...

and yes, let's see some more pics... some full body shots

The clean look is a camera trick, all soft focus and high contrast. You should see the brown and crusty header pipes, and my tank looks like someone tried to write on it in Arabic with a screwdriver. I disguise the bigger scrapes in my tail plastics with electrical tape.

Anyway, more pictures from another thread:

looks great. yeah, i gotta get around to painting mine matte black... it really accentuates the precise lines and curves of the screen much more so than a glossy finish does...
